!!! Welcome to the auction of this Very nice clean and honest little car in the best of colours Silver metalic !! As you are probably aware the Skoda brand in now part of the VAG group owned by vw, the fabia model is based on the VW Polo using its chassis and floor pan. All switches button locks etc are VW, But the best bit you can own one of these at a fraction of the polo price! This one is a very straight and honest example , i purchased this direct from a Toyota main dealers where they took in part exchange a brand new car, I have had a basic valet done on it and I must say it really does look well!!, extraemly clean!! A very practical with nice large boot space, but without having that large car feel! As its only a 1200cc make it very sensible to run/insure and maintain with the quality build of a VW. Whether you are interested in this or not, I can not recommend any higher! Anyway enough of me rattling on, back to the car details. It was first registered on an 04 registration. The specification is very good and includes to name a few. Air con, elec windows etc, and the all important power steering, (which is a must on a fabia ), 2 x airbags, and it boosts a very comfortable dark grey interior , the list goes on! This is a superb car for the year that drives really well without any known mechanical faults, brakes, engine gearbox all seem great. It has MOT until 29th April 2012 and lots of service history, So ready to go without any worries. I am in possession of the full V5 (log book ) service books, handbooks wallet etc and the car is hpi clear ! The interior appearance is super and has certainly not seen excessive wear. The bodywork is equally as good and there are no major marks to mention very straight and genuine throughout really, just the odd stone chip/mark as you would expect of a car of this age they really are hardly noticeable. Very nice and straight on the bodywork!! They don’t come any better than this at this age!!!! The engine, gearbox, brakes are all good as you would expect of the miles! The reaseon I am selling is that I now have a car provided from work.This Octavia Elegance was supplied to a high spec and is a fantastic all round vehicle with huge boot space, loads of storage compartments, roof bar, removable witter towbar, good fuel economy with its 6 speed gearbox, very comfortable and a pleasure to drive.The car is in very good condition with only a few minor marks as to be expected of a vehicle of this age.The worst mark is on the rear bumper (picture 7) which I did when lifting the trailer off of the towbar. It is a variable service model which advises when a service is due - SKODA reckon about every 20,000 miles but it is essential and I have always insisted on Fully Synthetic Oil - more expensive but worth it At times the computer suggests in excess of 60mpg but calculations prove around 53mpg on a regular basis. I am leaving the private no on - T12 aaa which is probably worth £100 or £200 if sold and you get the benefit of the `12` for this year ! Tyres are good all round and I got it MOT`d yesterday for the next owner. Garaged overnight all its life and only being sold to make way for a new Skoda. The car is in a very good condition and I believe that first to see will buy. The only blemish is an unknown idiot opened their door on my drivers door and put a ding that has not broken the paint or left a mark other than a `push` that is more visible when clean and largely invisible to me except for a few days after noticing it. I purchased this last week direct from our local Nissan main dealership where the previous owner bought a new car ! I must firstly tell you how honest and genuine this car is. It has only covered, 48000 miles. Also has a full mot so ready to go without any worries!!!!!! I have the full V5 (log book ) 3 x keys and importantly the car is hpi clear ! The interior and exterior appearance is superb and to be fair is as good as a 2 year old equivalent! No real marks or issues on the body to mention! just the odd stone chip as you would expect on a car of this age!! Ultra Clean and tidy inside! Very modern interior, you would really think you are sat in a 2 year old car inside, great layout ! the rear seats don’t look like they have ever been sat in? you can plainly see this car has been owned by the “percy and Barbra” types (hope their not reading this) as its so clean, obviously been child free!!
